Midjourney
Midjourney is a subscription service for creating and revising images, with additional tools for animating images into video. You can work on its website rather than relying only on Discord. It is useful for exploring illustration directions, concept art, moodboards, and variations before selecting a final visual.
What it offers
The web Create page accepts text prompts and image references. Style references, personalization, variations, upscalers, and the Editor provide different ways to revise a result. The current guide also documents an Edit Model for images and written instructions. These controls influence composition and appearance; they do not guarantee an exact copy of a product, face, or layout.
Access and cost
Monthly subscriptions cost US$10 for Basic, US$30 for Standard, US$60 for Pro, and US$120 for Mega. Annual plans require an upfront commitment and have lower effective monthly prices. Fast GPU time varies by tier. Relax Mode supports specified image or video workloads, so its allowance should not be read as unlimited access to every operation. The website and Discord currently offer no free trial.
Practical limits
Private generation requires attention to the sharing settings. Stealth Mode is available on Pro and Mega, while work posted in public spaces can remain visible there. Midjourney’s terms also require Pro or Mega for companies above US$1 million in annual gross revenue. Review lettering, hands, product details, and the output license before delivery. A subscription does not eliminate third-party rights in your inputs.
