Claude
Claude is Anthropic’s assistant for working with documents, drafting text, explaining code, and researching questions on the web. Artifacts provide a separate area for generated documents, code, and interactive content. The web, desktop, and mobile apps share the Claude product, while developer API access has its own billing terms.
A practical document workflow
Upload the source document and describe the decision you need to make. Ask Claude to separate stated facts, missing information, and proposed next steps. For a comparison, specify the columns and request references to the relevant passages. Open the original file to check those references before sharing the result. For repeated work, a Project can keep the supporting material together when your plan includes that capability.
Free and paid access
The Free plan offers limited use. Pro costs $20 when billed monthly or $200 when billed annually. Max starts at $100 per month and offers a larger allowance. Paid access still has usage limits. Anthropic says consumption depends on message length, attachments, conversation history, model choice, and tools, so a fixed messages-per-hour promise would be misleading.
Keep a focused conversation for each task and reuse relevant project documents. Generated claims, calculations, and code need review. A paid plan changes access and capacity; it does not guarantee that every answer is correct.
